Crawford lays out the chapters in a way that makes it easy to go back and reference. This book breaks it down into digestible parts that guide you through the all of the Scrivener's functionality. Its one of those apps that has so much functionality that it can be really complicated to use. Scrivener is an app that I've tried to like for a few years now. Great introduction to the top app for serious writers out there. That said, the book is still useful and I was able to follow what she was discussing even though I could not see the detail in some of the images.more I purchased the paperback edition and I suspect the Kindle version allows you enlarge the images and see more detail, but that is not much help with the paperback version.
However, there is so much detail on the screen that it is difficult, if not impossible, to read see the detail in the book. Crawford adds screenshots to show how various menus and screens look. My only issue with the book is the figures. Crawford also interjects issues she has run into during her writing and offers advice to avoid those issues.
